Amy Jones Sedivy grew up in Los Angeles and has lived in many of L.A.’s neighborhoods. She admits that the best was her childhood home a block from the beach. This perfect neighborhood was razed to the ground to accommodate more runways at LAX, an act that proved Joni Mitchell was right about not knowing what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone. Amy currently lives in the NELA neighborhood of Highland Park with her artist-husband and their princess-dog. She teaches, reads, writes, and submits. Her most recent publications include "The Rhinos of Josephine" in (mac)ro(mic), July 2021; and “(Just a) Girl in the World” in Made in L.A. 4: Beyond the Precipice Anthology, May 2022.
